Winter Aid Efforts

Through its winter assistance program, Together for Children Organization strives to alleviate the suffering of children, the needy, and the homeless in impoverished countries where the weather is often cold and harsh, hardship increases, and life becomes more difficult. The winter aid project includes winter clothing, blankets, winter materials, food items, and other forms of winter support.

Distribution of Winter Aid in Yemen – 2024

In January 2024, the winter aid project was carried out in the Dhamar governorate in Yemen. Each winter package contained 2 blankets, 2 mattresses, and 3 sets of winter clothing (for women, men, and children). The project benefited 137 poor, needy, and orphaned families.

In December 2024, winter clothing was also distributed to orphans and needy children in the Taiz governorate in Yemen. Many children benefited from the project.

Winter Aid / Distribution of Winter Clothing and Blankets in Yemen – 2023:

In November/December 2023, winter aid was distributed in several governorates of the Republic of Yemen, including Marib, Taiz, Al-Hudaida, Ibb, and Sana’a. The project included the distribution of blankets, mattresses, and winter clothing. Many families of orphaned children and needy individuals benefited from the project.

Winter Aid / Distribution of Winter Clothing and Blankets in Yemen – 2022:

In December 2022, the Winter Aid / Winter Food Basket project was implemented in the Republic of Yemen. The project included the distribution of 300 food baskets in the Taiz governorate and surrounding rural areas. Each food basket contained 25 kg of flour, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of rice, 2–3 liters of oil, pasta, and beans. The project benefited 300 poor and needy families.

In November 2021, the winter aid project was implemented in Yemen. Winter clothing and blankets were distributed to 65 needy children.

Winter Aid / Winter Clothing in Yemen – 2020:

In September 2020, the winter aid project was implemented in Yemen. Winter clothing was distributed to 70 children. In addition, blankets were distributed to 50 poor and needy families.

Winter Aid / Winter Clothing in Yemen – 2019:

The project was implemented in the governorates of Raymah and Dhamar in Yemen. The winter aid included blankets, mattresses, as well as jackets and other clothing. The assistance benefited 65 homeless and needy children.
